“Fed up with seeing friends getting clipped by cars, the designers at Altitude combined two things we love — bikes and lasers — to create an instant bike lane and make nighttime cycling a whole lot safer.
Their bike-mounted gadget, called LightLane, beams two bright red lines and the universal symbol for cyclist on the pavement, neatly delineating a bike lane to remind motorists to yield a little space. It should make everyone feel a little more comfort on the road.”

Pulse smartpen from company Livescribe is another exciting product presented at JavaOne 2008.

Yes, it is powered by Java.

Check out more videos over at Livescribe.

It’s even not insanely expensive - $150 for 1GB and $200 for 2GB version.

Another cool live demo from Google I/O conference in which you can see how Google Street View works on a mobile device sporting an improved Google Android mobile platform.

Adding an extra kick to the presentation, this devices has an built-in compass that works perfectly with Google Street View. What other application do you see with this compass? :-)

Here’s something for all of you mobile gadgeteers and geeks out there - a video clip showing live demo of the improved Google Android mobile platform. This one came from the Google I/O conference which takes place yesterday and today (May 29th).

Enjoy!
